To be fair, it would have been hard to overlook Cazorla, which would be that position. Wes was so influential though, despite Taraabt playing well, I don't think he made the same all round contribution as Wes. Shawcross appears to have been picked purely for not reacting to Fellaini, Bassong's stand-out block at the end was probably a larger contribution.
Wow, that really is impressive punditry, especially when even the BBC have that stat correct. Al-Habsi for one did better. Also: Isn't it amazing that the BBC have started to allow comments on loads of articles, except the ones where you might actually criticise their football pundits? You should see the F1 blogs, their chief reporter gets torn a new one by comments each week, he's dreadful.
