He had Bassong in his team of the week, which is funny because Bassong would only have been second choice centre-half in the Norwich team of the week!
I have watched Crooks on Final Score for a fair while and he gets maligned on here a lot but I believe he is genuinely behind Hughton and by default Norwich. He always reports fairly for us and that is a rarity on the BBC. He was pretty upset (as was Colin) about the Arsenal fiasco and made a big thing of it.
I agree Thurnby. He says some stupid/simplistic things which gives him a bad rep, but he is not biased and while he might state the obvious at times, at least whatever he says is with some form of justification (even if the justification is that it is ****ing obvious!)
Yes I think that is right Rob. I'm not saying he is brilliant (because he isn't) but look at the 'team' the BBC put out - Gabbi (knows nothing) Logan, Robbie (Dick) Savage, Martin (charisma bypass) keown - the list goes on. Compared to them, yeah Crooks is O.K.and is not a big four licker either.
