The much waited (by ****s and even bigger *****s) Garth Brooks comeback is off <laugh>

Garth was to play 2 shows at the end of July in Croke Park, Dublin. The shows sold out in minutes so the promoters and Garth and the Gaa anounced another gig and another and another totalling 5 nights straight of the cowboy ****.

400000 tickets sold including up to 90000 from overseas , 24million on tickets , millions on hotels , etc.

    What could go wrong ?

It seems all this business was done before the granting of any licences and the local residents didnt want to be listening to ****e 5 nights on the trot as well as being trapped in their homes.

Dublin City Council granted licences for 3 nights but the bould Garth said "It's five shows or none as chopping two would be like being asked to pick a favourite child of yours" <doh>

So Dublin city council replied ok so do no shows <laugh>

So **** you cowboy looks like youve no friends in high or low places <ok>

He's doing a Miles Davis, it's an all white audience so he's turned his back on them.

One of the Railroad gang I think.

24million in the bank dev interest growing and then give back the 24m keeping the rest easy money.

Wanna become a promoter with me ? We could sell shows to see jim morrison, jimi hendrix , the beatles by the time people realise theyre all dead we'll be rich. This time next year rodders we'll be millionaires.

When buying a house near a 80,000 capacity stadium, how could people reasonably anticipate that it might host events which could attract large crowds?

In fairness to the ressies, wasn't there a stipulation in place when they endured the lengthy building process to update the stadium that the GAA could only allow the stadium to be used for one or two nights per annum for non sporting events ?

I lived around there for a few years and I know they are decent skins.
