Sorry, but the beeb recon he could feature this weekend. No chance. Caulker is nailed on and Gary will struggle to get the nod this year. Taylor LB for me and Tate will cover centre back and left back.

Have to agree, Caulker looked like he belonged on Monday, didn't put a foot wrong. Can't see Monk getting a look in. Taylor still has to prove himself, but we need to persevere as he adjusts to this level because he is the future.

Monk will make the bench if deemed fit for definite, Butler is lucky to be employed.

If Butler won't get a look in and is reserve quality at best, why on earth was he offered another contract. I'm sure Buck wouldn't take the Irish connection that far? Seems Harley might be on his way and if it's a question of losing him and retaining Butler then I'm going to come right out with it and seriously question Buck's judgement.

By the way, I watched Butler in the reserves last night. He had an OK game but no more than that and I am aware that he's been out for a while. Nevertheless.........

Maybe Buck has Butler in his plans for this season? If not then why he has been given another contract?

Rumour is he has been signed more for the other stuff he does at the club - mentoring etc. kind of like how we had Pennock on the books as a player for a while even though he was a coach. If so then I hope he's on an appropriate wage rather than a footballers one.

Went and watched the reserves last night. The 2 worst swans players were Butler and Coterill. Looked very disinterested. very disappointing. however our youngsters looked very very good. Fair play to beatie as well looked well up for it and scored a good goal. Thomas and Alfei down the right worked well.
