Was it Garrincha who apparently had a schlong like a can of Vim?

 

I always love watching Garrincha. Shame the booze got him.

What is a can of Vim? Not sure if I'm too old or too young to know this. I'm going to have to consult Google...

EDIT: I'm guessing you mean the cleaning product (I was trying to think of a drink called Vim). I've never seen it in a can.

 

Vim was like Ajax - in a cardboard tube, metal-capped at both ends.

And there was a fizzy pop called Vimto. Murdens of Hull had the license to make and sell it.

 

It was a cleaning product in a tube approximately 12 inches long....

The thing I remember about Garrincha is that he had one leg longer than the other but the schlong rumour seems to ring a bell, think he was a bit of a George Best type too

 

I read somewhere many years ago that Garrincha used to wear his boots on the wrong feet, as he was able to bend the ball that way. Probably bollocks, but just thought I would mention it.

 

Never mind all that, has anyone seen his length and can confirm reports that it's a whopper?
