Superb news, he has been absolutely brilliant for us this year, an absolutely inspired signing by Hootun. Chatting to a couple of my Arsenal fan mates this week and I was saying I can't believe they weren't interested in him as their options at left back (Gibbs or Santos) are ridiculously ordinary in my opinion and Javier is far, far better. It was a masive coup bringing him to Carra Rud and fantastic to hear how much he's enjoying himself here
Great news, although reading the article it does pretty much say it's dependent on us staying up, which to be honest you'd expect from a player as good as him.
I initially had my doubts regarding Garrido. But I will eat humble pie,and agree a first class signing. Lets hope we can do a deal and keep the guy.
Would love him to be a permanent signing, as he offers so much to the team and some of his crosses have been superb - none more so than the corss for the equaliser aghainst Everton.
But I will eat humble pie,and agree a first class signing. There are going to be massive portions of it about this season.I might even have a nibble at a small slice myself as Hughton was my third choice behind Ollie and Malky.
I waas sceptical about him when we signed him, mainly due to the poor reviews from man city fans about his defending, but he has impressed me and i'd go as far as saying his crossing (from what i've seen) is better than Snodgrass'. That being said he'll have to take a few more free kicks before I can judge fully, but a brilliant weapon from left back nonetheless
I'm with the rest of you on this one. He is not the most flamboyant of players but he is incredibly reliable and disciplined. I would also like to see him taking far more of the free kicks from his side of the pitch. He seems to have much greater accuracy and reliability than Snodgrass.
