What a great interview, as a player and a person absolutely top drawer. All the games I saw him play rarely put in a bad performance. Congratulations and well deserved.
Garreth was a fantastic player. As reliable as you can get. You knew what you were going to get with him and invariably got it. Well deserved induction into the Hall of Fame.
Had the pleasure of meeting Garreth a couple of times. Still have a few photos from that era and one in particular which he signed shows him alongside our then 12 month old daughter Beth back in 1985 when he played under Brian Horton’s team. Garreth was a cracking player and a one club professional which is something pretty rare these days.
