4 times I've now typed a big response to something, only to hit the big bright, obvious "Reply to thread button" only to lose whatever I've typed. also I can never be arsed typing it all in again.

Nice to know I'm not the only one, all those pearls of wisdom, lost, like tears in rain...

While I decide what to post I'll change the page then forget about my post for about 5 minutes, come back on this page, finish a huge post then try to post it and it says I'm logged out. Annoying.

Theres a solution to that.I had the same trouble.Use the ''remember me'' button, and it will keep you logged in for as long as you like, you also have the choice of not logging out as when you put the page up again, you won't have to put in your username or password.

before you submit any long post, click on the text area, press crtl+a then crtl+c

takes 2 seconds to do and saves you a melt

I always click the 'Go Advanced' button next to 'Post Quick Reply' and check through my post to see if I have made any stupid spelling mistakes. I don't lose what I write then. Unless I start doing something else and forget about this for 10 minutes or so.

    Works for me.
