05:30 PM 26 July, 2011 Craig Gardner insists he, Seb Larsson and David Vaughan are all Premier League players. Gardner and Larsson joined Sunderland from Birmingham City last months, whilst Vaughan has headed to the Stadium of Light following the end of his Blackpool contract. Eyebrows have been raised as all three players suffered relegation from the top-flight last season, but Gardner insists they are all at home in the Premier League. âOur teams may have gone down but we're all Premier League players and that's where we belong," he told the official club website. "That's why Sunderland have signed us. âWe all want to do well and not roll over and let teams walk all over us. I'm sure the lads here have that never say die attitude and we will crack on this year." bout time we had some balls in the team
