Haven't heard of him signing anything. He's probably still on the short term deal he had while injured. The club won't be worried. No club bigger than us is going to come in for him and he won't drop lower when he's wanted here.
I would have thought January. If it were shorter he'd be left in limbo by the transfer rules (not being a free agent now he couldn't join anybody if he left), and if it were longer it would effectively be the contract he was offered before his injury so it wouldn't seem likely to be considered short term.
