Usual rubbish. Cracker shot from Sess and that's it! Giving the ball away so cheaply. Pray as much as you can for a bit of a jammy goal.

Think defensively they've been good. Fletcher reminds me of Kenwyne Jones. Doesn't put himself about enough for me. See Howard Webb is ref. what chance we got with him? Great gross in and easy head for fletcher but the defender has hold of him for about 3 seconds? Why isn't that a penalty?

We played well recently and lost. I personally am not bothered if we play awful and win.

Yes we did not play the best football but we won which is what matters.

We put the ball in the back of the net more times than the team were playing thats how football works

Hi Saints fan here. Went to the game and you must love coming down to St Mary's. I think last time you beat us 2-1. Have to say I thought Sunderland were very strong defensively and O'Shea dominated in the air. Fairly tough and even game but well done.

You were certainly set up to defend and counter attack. Johnson put in a few dangerous crosses. But I guess that's what you need a poacher and Fletcher provided, even though for most of the game he was well marshalled.

Fletcher is a good footballer AND a top class finisher. Any resemblance he has to Kenwyne Jones ends the second they put their respective boots on in the changing room.

Kenny was just a large lump of ****e that is now being peddled by Stoke for being a large lump of ****e as well.

I agree with that Cestria - I can't see any comparison at all with Fletcher and Jones. Fletcher is several levels above Jones any day of the week.

Not Fletchers biggest fan club member but, even I can see he is streets ahead of Kenwyne although they are two different type of players. Either way as long as he keeps scoring I'm fine with that although now teams will be trying to mark him out of the game which means we have to get the rest of the team scoring.
