Preston had a good win tonight as did Swindon. Preston are now 2 points behind with a game in hand.

Starting to look a lot tighter at the top. makes our next 4 games really important now.

Teams at the top form guide is pretty impressive. Preston have won 7 on the spin. Oldham 4 wins and 2 draws. Notts County 5 wins on the spin. Swindon one defeat in last 10.

Still think that the Preston game on 22nd is going to be huge.

We'll be fine with a win on Saturday and wish for losses, or draws, by PNE and Swindon. The secret to staying where we are in the division depends on us picking up points from nearly all matches and we cannot return to the previous seasons where we struggled to pick up 2 points out of twelve, or something like that at many times through the season. The defence needs to pick up the slack and stop conceding goals, to allow the team to keep challenging but I'm sure SC is well aware of that fact.

It's great not losing but draws against the "mediocre" teams are allowing the chasing pack to close the gap. I'd settle for a couple of losses so long as we can convert more draws to wins. I know every team can probably do this but just look at the points we've dropped against teams that we should be beating.

tbh having a shooting match with Preston might just work for us.
A two horse race, both teams driving each other on, as they pull away from the pack.
I certainly don't fear us going down the pan. If this season has proved anything so far its that our player do care, and have guts a'plenty, and want that title like it hurts
