Eastleigh Vs Grimsby (6th Vs 4th) Telford Vs Halifax (24th Vs 10th) All very important games for us. Eastleigh have 3 games in hand and Grimsby has just 1 game in hand on us. Grimsby could go just 1 point behind us and we still have to face them away yet. Eastleigh could go 7 points behind us and will have 2 games in hand on us and we still have to face them at the Mem. A draw would be a good result I think. Halifax have 3 games in hand on us as well. If they will all 3 they go 3 points behind us. And surprise surprise, we also have to face them too away. A drew or even a win for the bottom side would be fantastic for us.
When they have all used up their games in hand they are all still beneath us. I firmly believe that DC has built a squad of players who give their all every time they put the blue and white quarters and the away shirt. The players have commented on the level of support they have received this season and the new players who have joined either on loan or permanently have said that one of the reasons they have come is the level of support that the team gets.I believe that this team will be in league 2 next season.
Saturdays fixtures... Braintree Vs Macclesfield...... (16th vs 2nd) Dartford Vs Rovers............... (22nd vs 3rd) Grimsby Vs Telford............... (4th vs 24th) Halifax Vs Barnet.................. (10th vs 1st) kidderminster Vs Eastleigh... (5th vs 6th) Tough game for Barnet and Kiddy/Eastleigh is hopefully a draw. Macclesfield & Grimsby should all win. So a surprise in those games would be great.
Can't afford anymore of these silly draws none of them can be considered a good result from here on in
we have drawn more games than any other team in our league. in fact, if you count the prem, championship, league 1 and 2 along with the conference, only 2 other teams have drawn more than us. charlton have drawn 14. york drawn 13 and we have drawn 12.
It's best to just focus on our results. We are in a very strong position and all we have to do is win our matches and we'll be fine.
