EPL Manager Index Week 7 | Pochettino goes top, Wenger 2nd & Mourinho 3rd Interesting, but even without reading into all the stats, it was no suprise that Pochettino tops the Index, with three wins in a row and the tightest defence in the league. Can he stay top next month though? Next four games are Man U (a), Fulham (h), Stoke (a), Hull (h), I think we'll be able to get at least 6 points there based on our current form. Other managers are starting to hit their stride like Mourinho, and it's surely only a matter of time before Man United start to win more games. I read a lot of praise for Allardyce's 4-6-0 tactics over on the West Ham board, even the phrase 'tactical genius' was banded about; although I really believe that we've left behind WH, they're no longer our 'positional rivals'. Not always convinced about the role of the football manager and how much impact they actually have on the game, but this season is proving fascinating with the changes at Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea, not to mention MP's progress. Can our manager keep us at our current dizzy heights, albeit with our (relatively) modest squad? http://eplindex.com/42047/epl-manager-index-week-7.html
I operate a simple system....any stats that support or praise Saints are good stats. Any stats that don't support the idea that we are best at everything are bad stats.
