That makes no sense at all. You're either out of the title race or you're in it. You can't be in it and not win it.

Piskie Sadly Agree there mate Arsenal have had a few opportunities now to reel United in and have spurned every one. The kids have matured but have again come up short. I admire Wenger's persistence in going the way he has but if Arsenal are to win the title in the next five years then Arsenal must buy.
Totally agree This has been one of the best opportunities for Arsenal in years and we've come up short, due to the lack of a couple of key players who could have made the difference. Utd are nothing special and they'll probably win the league with a damp squib ****s. Wenger has got to spend this summer. **** the sensitivities of displacing some players... we need a team who can win now, not a team who has 'potential' to do something in couple of years...

Yes you can. Not everyone who is in a race wins it. We are still in the race because at this moment mathematically we can win the premiership but I don't that we will. Sorry for the confusion
I understood it perfectly. Same as Liverpool in 2009 and us last year - still in the race right up till the last couple of games, but not likely to actually put the performances together to win it. Not sure what's not to understand to be honest!
I insist you have a complete back up point for your opinions. There's not confusion at all, I was just insisting that you're a bit more specific in the near future. It's completely understandable that your fans aren't sure whether or not you're in the title race. I certainly would have major doubts with the squad you guys have.
