Good news for me as I am snowed in in leafy Leicestershire and would not have been able to make it - I am looking forward to a new date for the match on a pleasant spring evening.
 
do you have information differing to ours? i understand the words pleasant and spring do not apply this year.!
 
You got there before me! Driving back north! My sister used to live near Hope......boy, could it be cold in winter, even flames in fire froze. Great in summer.......can't remember......how far is it from Drum and Monkey? Good place for all sorts of things; haven't been there in years, is it still open?
 
Drum and Monkey now called the Callow Inn, never been in bit still want to get there
Near Hope is the Stables Inn, walked there across fields from Hope Valley only to find it shut for repairs!
