No real stand out games this weekend so I'm going for............ Leicester City vs Swansea City Saturday, 15:00 Liberty Stadium Swansea City please log in to view this image vs Leicester City please log in to view this image Leicester flying high and Gary Monk under pressure, which way will it go? Leicester knocked off their perch or Monk getting the boot? I don't really care but don't want that Swansea striker to score, the one with the lion or panther some kind of pussy celebration.
I'm going to this game. My little lads first game, hopefully be a cracker. Swansea to win I hope but at least I know there will be some football played, unlike when I watch my lot.
Some football played by Leicester maybe. Don't know what's up with Swansea at the moment. I'm going there on Boxing day in the WBA end.
... not a happy hunting ground for us in recent times but we are a very different side this season and continually surprise me in terms of just how good we can be in games (long may that continue ) ... huge game for Gary Monk ... expecting a tough one.... Massive boost for us before the game is that Lawro has tipped us to get beat YET AGAIN ... if his predictions for us had been spot on we'd be in 17th position with an impressive 10 points ... see indicative table towards the end of the article .. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34978258
Me too. I only use the posh seats though, right in front of the press box. **** sitting with the proles I'll be able to look down my nose at you as you boing along. *I did mean by Leicester, Swansea will have a big lumbering sack of **** up front who'll more than likely barely touch it*
My wifes side are all WBA fans, I tag along now and then. It was fun when they played Liverpool and we relegated them I just sat there quietly.
... the run at the end of last season was electric but still nervy .. the difference this season has been how we have dominated teams in some games ..particularly away from home .. the Newcastle game stands out .. we are not used to being so in control. ... but I guess the table doesn't lie. ..
Sure .. actually I thought we would kick on .. but would have happily accepted merely avoiding being in the relegation scrap...
Being surprised by Leicester's form at the start of the season is fine. Still being surprised by them playing well is a little odd.
