If gally goes and beckford what will happen to youngy and stringer - losing their favourite and the anti-christ?

After Beckford the next scape goat for me will be Neil Danns

He is too busy pretending to be a pop star and chasing up his pathetic little app to worry about playing football. Nigel get him out

I'm worried about strings and youngy - who can they favourite now and I don't think Danns will be Beelzebub enough for them!

Let's see who's left who Sven signed?

    Kasper
    Nugent
    Danns
    St. Ledger unless he goes
    Beckford unless he goes
    Konchesky

Thats it, not alot to show for the 10M+ Sven spent. Apart from Kasper and maybe Nugent all of them are easily replaceable

So here is who signed what player

    Schmeichel -Sven
    De Laet- Nigel
    Konchesky- Sven
    Drinkwater- Nigel
    Morgan- Nigel
    Whitbread- Nigel
    Marshall- Nigel
    Danns- Sven
    Vardy- Nigel
    King- Academy
    Dyer- Nigel
    St. Ledger- Sven
    Logan- Academy
    Waghorn- Sousa
    James- Nigel
    Gallagher- Nigel
    Schlupp- Academy
    Wellens- Nigel
    Beckford- Sven
    Futacs- Nigel
    Nugent- Sven

Nigel tried to sign Danns at Hull so he obviously liked him as a player. Nigel has said in the past how much he likes Nugent and Kasper

So its really just Konchesky, Beckford and St. Ledger who arent really Pearson players. I think he is just using them because they are here. Never in a million years would Nigel have signed Beckford.

But its pretty much Nigels squad and he will be judged on what he does now but people still need to give him a chance. 3 games and 2 cup games is hardly time is it

Agree 100% he needs a chance but my guess is he's got up to 5 games to keep his job - with a replacement manager already being tapped up 'just in case'.

But I could be talking complete bollocks as usual! <nahnah>

Put is this way if we change manager then we can write this season off already. Very very rarely do you see a team change manager and get promoted in the same year

I think Nigel will get us to the prem within the next 2 years. With the FFP coming in then its very important we get out of this league so we need to stop messing around with changing managers. When the owners sacked Sven what they needed to do was take their time which they did and get their man in and back him. Unless we arent progressing then they need to back their man the whole way. People like Ben Marshall, Matty James, Ritchie De Laet, Danny Drinkwater, Liam Moore, Jeff Schlupp, Anthony Knockaert, Jamie Vardy are all still learning. Most of the players signed by Nigel this is their first real club where they are playing games with the first team.

We think they are look very good now but how good will they be in a years time? If we get a new manager no doubt he will want his own man in and that will cost the owners millions again and how long til they get bored of spending millions and getting absolutely nothing in return. Patience is needed

Proud_Fox I think you can probably put Waghorn as a Nigel signing, even though it was Sousa who tied up the permanent deal. Which striker will we sign on deadline day this year?

I take it the post cup defeat 'Nigel must go' sentiments have wained a little then?

You've got the nucleus of a good squad, I'm sticking by prediction for Nigel to have you in the top 2 come the end of the season.

Seems strange that he's letting the squad get light at the back, I always thought that was his first priority to sure up the defence and work from there?
