    F*** no! The guy is a sulk on the pitch and a disease in the dressing room. Not to mention he's 35. Definitely a MH type signing and we don't need any more of those.

    and hes injury prone....Anyone over 33 is just asking for trouble. Once you get one,you just dont recover too well

    Can't be too picky now can we? We're not in the best position to attract players, a short term contract on a free transfer can't be too bad.

    Depends on the deal. He did ok when he went into Spurs so perhaps Arry knows how to deal with him or is at least confident he can but obviously not not a long term solution which I would prefer to see.

    Expectations for this transfer window may be too high, I would prefer to see us get in players who are going to stay even if we go down, build for the future but if we can't get them in January window, either because of our situation or just because it's the January windows Arry may be forced to look more for the short term. I was quite adamant about what we should do but seeing how may people have reportedly turned us down, I have some sympathy for a different approach now.
