Was anyone else going to this next month ? It has been postponed, apparently due to lack of interest, which is something of a shame. I wonder if that is down to the poor team performances or the event ticket prices?
If it's down to poor team performances,(is it REALLY that bad?), that's a very shallow reason not to go. Probably ticket prices. Got to be.
Ticket prices. Not sure what proportion of significant others are into football but mine is not so would be hard to justify the expense on top of ST etc.
They may have been a fantastic team but it's a celebration of coming 2nd, which seems rather odd to me...
Beggars can't be choosers. I wanted to bid on the Alzheimers society shirts, but was mislead by the ebay deadline and missed out. I looked at this and it seemed too much of a hassle, I'd rather just donate and I hope they put the remaining shirts on line again. But both the Alzheimers Society and the Stan Bowles Foundation were well below the fund raising target they set before the ebay auction, so if you can spare it (and I'm well aware not every one can) worth throwing a couple of quid in their direction.
