Hi! Newcastle fan here with a couple of questions. I have Gabbidon in my fantasy team and have noticed he's got a knee injury so I was wondering if you guys know more info on this and if he's likely to play this weekend or be out for a while? Also while I'm here I thought I'd ask how you lads think your new big signings are fitting in? (Not just Barton, I'm curious to see if any of them are **** or better than expected etc.) You played class against us especially given the number of debutants, if you keep up the form you seem to be in right now you'll have a good season for sure.
Last I read (yesterday) Gabbidon's injury wasn't as bad as first thought and he might even make the team on Sunday's match against Villa. As for the newbie's, they've all be fantastic so far - if I had to single out three - Barton, Sean W-P and Traore.
Gabbidon should be fit for sunday they reckon. All the new boys are doing well and have gelled very quickly. Barton, SWP and Traore have been particularly impressive but it's early days yet.
Cheers lads. Yeah I noticed SWP looked to be in good form, and if you have Barton in the same form he was for us last season - you have a hell of a player. Good luck for the season (except against us!) - and here's to Les Ferdinand .
1 question: Why would you put Gabbidon in your fantasy team before the start of the season when he was apparently **** last year. Ran out of money? Anyway, doesn't seem to be a bad selection in the end.
Cheap, and defense doesn't mean all that much in FF really, as long as youre sure to get a few points from each you can afford to stick in a cheap defense and then buy an insane strikeforce & goalscoring midfield.
