If given the choice ego would you rather see down the den next season out of Townsend or puncheon, as it's very unlikely KJ will go for 2 more wingers.??

And out of all the names flying around about a new forward who we will sign, in a ideal world which one would we bring in.?(realistic answers!)

For me I'd rather puncheon, and the forward I'd rather have Rhodes, he's young strong and knows where the net is.!!

if we could sign Townsend rather than get him on loan I would probably prefer him over Puncheon.

I know very little about le fondre and rhodes so can't really give a preference, maybe Rhodes as it sounds less french.

im actually worried not long until the end of the transfer market and those marquee signings havent been made...
in KJ i trust but surely getting em in before goin ireland would have been preferable?

it would make sense to buy prior to going ireland but so many transfers seem to go through in the final few days I wouldn't worry until the window has finally closed and I know the squad.

HE got to make a move soon grant don , already failed with miller ,dissapointed that he isnt prepared to pay for a striker , as he surely has a bit to spend.

puncheon - im unsure tottenham will let townsend go but they let taarabt so who knows, plus puncheon has more strength
rhodes- as he has a come from a lower drop in leagues than le fondre so in theory it should be easier for him for him to adapt

I've said it before - we should stick with M & M together with our new boys....let's see what happens and strengthen later if necessary!

Isn't prepared to pay for a striker? Kenny won't pay for **** or over the odds for anyone. You think he's sitting on his arse doing nothing? Yep, he's got a bit of money but he's limited and if clubs ask silly money what's he supposed to do?

Give the bloke a break ffs.

I think so too - could be the new Teddy & Cas.
Failing that, wait till the Premiership boys announce their 23 man squads - then there will be lots of other alternatives <cheers>

We need another striker sure we do, but not desperately.
run with M&M we have back up, let Kenny do what Kenny does best,
be patient and when he gets our man it will be the right one.<ok>
like T.C. says there may be some real quality to be had later and we will have the money to spend,,

Rather have Townshend than Punch - even on loan. Interesting that KJ was going for a big bloke up front in Miller. But I think it's going to be the 2M's. Hope it works out and that we don't get a big injury early on. Maybe we'll pick up someone that's not wanted in the Prem....or maybe Batt will come back at his best.

Apparently, we are linked with James McClean - left winger. Looking at his stats, young prospect with goals to boot. <ok>
