I keep reading that Walcott can be moved into the middle and Oxo to the right. Would you guys not prefer to have it the other way around?

Oxo is stronger, he can shoot with both feet, brains and got tricks...oh and I forgot, also fast as lightening.

Walcott's right foot is improving and with his speed he is great on the right. But I think he might be too weak to play in the center.

What do you think?

Interesting suggestion <ok> Having seen Oxo's shooting, I think he could become a good CF. Maybe we could rotate the two to give RVP some breathing space

Ok so where does RVP play then, i think that inevitably oxo will be brought in to replace walcott as he actually has a footballing brain. Walcott has layer well recently, but tbh he has had to because oxo and miyachi are waiting to take his place. I have just never been a fan of walcott as he can't even do the basics sometimes during a football match like dribbling and passing etc. So i think that by the end of this season, maybe even the start of next walcott will be out and either oxo or miyachi will be in.

AOC sees himself as more of an attacking midfielder then a forward in the future.

Have to say, Chamberlain looks like he's going to be a real star. An astute signing right there.

No - Walcott is a natural striker and OXO seems to be a natural winger, leave it as that I think.

I'd agree that Walcott looks more like a natural striker. I would like to see Wenger try Oxo on the right with Walcott through the middle.
Oxo has got a lethal shot on him though and he's always looking to get into a position to attack the goal. It's an area that Wenger has created options which could give RVP a rest when needed.

You could even have OXO just behind the the striker in a support role, given his talents to dribble past people and his shooting ability.

I think Oxo is really dangerous in the middle, his shot is lethal. There's some good options to be able to use Walcott and him together.

I think that’s the good thing about Oxo in that he seems to be a very versatile type of player, which makes him look even more of a great buy from Wenger. I thought that the price of 12M was to steep for such a young and untested player but he certainly seems well worth the price tag so far

he's being played as a Winger, but, just like Theo, is out of position. His range of passes is very good, and he sees himself more in the Ramsey role in the future. Oxo off Theo is how they see themselves in the years to come.

Oxo is a natural CM but he is very good on the wing.
What do you guys think of Oxo so far?

OX might be a natural AM or might have started his football career as a RW, whichever one it is. IMO, Ox is a winger and an effective one too. Given his versatality, his direct style of play coupled with his dribbling skills , i dont see why he cant play as either a SS, AMF or end up as a CF.

I think he is just like theo in terms of their playing positions on the feild. Ox however, will turn out to be a better CF than Theo in the future because of his movement, skill, directness, his ability to go past players an understanding of the game.

I have to say that its a fantastic acquisition by Wenger. Thank god he is also in the right club to develop his true potential.

--OX isnt far from being a World class player though--

AOC is a central midfielder. That's the position he's played all through youth and reserves. He even played there for the first team when we player 4-3-1-2. You lot have really done some research on your player haven't you???? Typical big club fans, actually know very little about football.
