    Who do you think could be a future captain? And when I say future captain I do not necessarily mean straight after Colo but just could one day be captain.

    1. Cabaye - Was the captain of Lille, seems intelligent, has a winning mentality, has shown quite a bit of grit already.

    2. Saylor - Is a Newcastle lad, determined and would put his body on the line for the team, in the Terry/Puyol mold.

    3. Santon - Captain of the U21 Italy team, potential to be a world class player, by the time he could be considered as captain he will have been at the club a while.

    4. Ben Arfa - He seems to have a passion for the club and even went to a Gateshead match while he was injured to better understand the club and the culture. Already seems to have a bit of influence by helping to persuade players to come to us.

    5. Abeid - Has a drive to play for us and to improve his game, already striking up a good relationship with fans.

    6. Sameobi - Well, er, he is Sameobi.

    Voted Saylor, Cabaye, Santon and Sammy. Sammy wasn't a joke vote either, he seems to have some intelligence and he has the passion, will be interesting to see how he's doing in 10 years.

    I thought Saylor would be captain this year tbh.

    Cabaye and/or Tiote in the future for me.

    Taylor almost defo, possibly Cabaye, don't know enough about Santon to comment, same with others. So voted for those 4 options.

    Saylor should be captain now in my opinion. Cabaye could be a captain but hopefully never will be.

    Purely because Saylor should be our next captain and hopefully is here for his whole career. Would be happy for Cabaye to step in if Taylor is injured though.
