I can't understand why Pearson went for Futacs anyway. I never rated him at Pompey and couldn't understand why a team aiming for promotion would want somebody like that.
We got him because he offered that target man threat incase we couldn't break a team down. Unluckily for him we've broken everyone down this season.
How much to get Heskey back? He wouldn't pull this kind of crap (if its true, i guess the team selection against Leeds will tell us)
He needs to develop (only 22 yrs old) and so cannot do that sitting on the bench. Does not seem like he will be given a chance so understandable he needs to go elsewhere. Really just got him in to replace Steve Howard as the big target man but we have not needed one so far this season.
Futacs is ****. I can't remember ever having seen him play, but I'm absolutely certain that he's a talentless carthorse, who should be plying his trade in the Conference North. Probably.

What are you talking about? I just said that if we (Leicester) had spent over, say, £2m on someone who turned out to not be very good, I wouldn't be too happy about it... I should know, we have wasted more than enough money recently!!
I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to Proud(and Fallen's) obsession with how much one of our players cost, which had led to my previous comment. The fact is that we haven't paid £2.6m for him, we paid half that, the rest is based on appearances and promotion to the Premier League. And I have no concerns over a manager who has spent just over a million bringing in six permanent players and five loan players, his transfer business has been outstanding.
I liked Futacs at Pompey and thought that he would be ideal for us as a direct replacement for Howard but looks like it isn't to be. When NP sent out Lingard - a Man Utd reserve midfielder that never played at this level - instead of Futacs when we were drawing against Forest and after a goal, the writing was on the wall.
