Last night I was watching AFV (Americas funniest videos) and I saw a couple of videos where people either fell or seemed to get something done in way where they ended up hurting themselves in the process. The only thing in my mind was if they really got hurt, I couldnt see the fun in those videos at all and my two friends were laughing their arses off. A couple of years ago 4 or 5 of my friends were watching a video on youtube about someone getting it awfully wrong in a safari trip where a nosy photographer was attacked by a lion, I couldnt watch the whole clip and have ever since wondered if the guy came out alright or if the video was a fake, I just dont understand the fun or interest in such things ... even any sort of interest totally escapes me unless you are a psychologist of sorts examining human behaviour. I asked my friends, but all they could say was that I lack a sence of humor, I do love Black Adder and Faulty Towers f.ex. ... but I just dont find any fun in seeing others in situations where they might get hurt. The "it looks funny" remark .... its beyond my comprehension. Is it just me?

You on about stuff like you've been framed? Basically people filming at home, or stuff, something bad happens, and people send them in to be shown, and people laugh. I always imagine people get hurt, they might breack their backs or become invalid in some way ... I dont find it funny.
I only posted the Bottom video as an example of something I find hilarious but could never watch if it was real.
Yeah, sorry one eyed, I too find the video funny .. but then again, as you state, its because we know its set up.

I cant watch those, I am afraid somebody will get hurt, I think there is something wrong with me ...and thats in all honesty. Japanese or not.
