I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we could post funny mistranslations about soccer, as well as stuff about sardines and trawlers, etc. Wikipedia is a rich source of these as foreigners with little English but proud of their local teams strive to make them known worldwide. I like this way of describing a draw, for example: "Aktobe in 6 duels celebrated 3 victories, one was reduced to nobody's and 2 lost".
