That is a wum article. Do you know how I know that? Well, because of this bit:-

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp would potentially see Lampard as a direct replacement for Modric in a move which could swing the deal after Chelsea had three bids for the Croat rejected over the summer.

Pure wummery!

Fat Frank, a direct replacement for Moddy? How, exactly?

Same age? No.

Same position? No.

Same monetary value? No.

Same level of skill? Obviously not, as AVB wouldn't be trying to off-load him.

So, when this miserable excuse for a hack-journo writes that Harry could see Fat Frank as a "direct" replacement for Moddy, what he really meant to write was "there is absolutely no way on God's Earth that Harry would see this story as anything other than an hilarious send-up."

There. Fixed it for you <ok>

Why do you seem to think Lampards Fat? He wouldn't be playing for us if he was fat he'd be playing for some team full of no hopers like spurs
And the article was bullshit from the beginning because why would we want to get rid of one of the best players we've ever had and still have, the only 0.0000001% chance of this happening would be because of Redknapp and he won't be there much longer, not to mention you couldn't afford his wages

Cooper, we seem to be in agreement. That article is full of crud. You won't be getting rid of Lampo, and we won't be getting rid of Moddy.

<ok>

Moody will play for a big club soon: probably in Manchester.

He knows that despite Spurs winning the Autumn runners up on goal difference make believe trophy: on and off the field that spurs are miles behind arsenal chelsea city united. And if he ever wants to challenge for major trophies, he must leave spurs

He will 100% leave because the only reason he'd sign a new contract would be because of Redknapp and Redknapp will only be their for this season or one more after

Another typical wum comment from you, Mr H.

I take a different view on matters. Moddy has seen the light. At Spurs, Harry has built a beautifully balanced side, with pace, flair and vitality. Moddy has recognised that the grass is not greener on the other side, and that he will not play any better football at Chelsea, or any where else.

He is going to stay at Spurs. Of that, I remain as confident as ever.

I would love him to come to Chelsea but United/City will get him.
