West Brom have made a formal enquiry about Ipswich Keeper Martin Fulop.

    http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18876&title=west_brom_in_fülöp_talks

It just begs the question that if the Vampire does join the Baggies who will replace him as no2! Please god not ALB! <yikes>

I here that Wrighty is looking for a club so could be a good shout especially now that we have Malcolm Webster back as the goal keeper coach.

Would be happier with Fulop (even ALB) as number 2 way ahead of Richard Wright JWM. Been there, done that, move on.

Good riddance frankly. Maybe there's an academy keeper we could throw in.

Have we signed that £8m player as yet JWM? Think not.....therefore, still intact...

I really hope Fulop stays: he's head and shoulders above ALB! If Stockdale does get recalled, it'd be good to have Fulop on stand-by, rather than risking an academy keeper or ALB who fills me with 0 confidence.

That and Fulop probably wouldn't fetch a great price.

    Wages. - £15k per week!

That is all that this is about.

Cody Cropper is decent enough to be no 3 with ALB covering.

ALB is fine for a few games but not a longer run.

Quite like Fulop but he should have been better than he is.

    Thanks but no thanks Plug.

I dont think this is about wages, I think this is about Fulop swapping the Sunderland bench for ours. He must be livid, not that he deserves the number 1 spot.

I don't see much difference between the two and I've not seen Cropper in action, what I've read sounds promising though.

What about one of PJ's old boys? Getting Pollitt back in again? I'm sure I saw him on a free transfer list somewhere?

15k per week is too much for us to be paying for a bench warmer, so if we can get let go we should. I dont have a problem with ALB as back up. Yes he had a shocker against Norwich, but he played well before that. Cropper can be our 3rd choice.

Get rid, on way too much money. Like the others have said ALB had a shocker against the budgies but apart from that he has saved us more points than cost us. I would like to get smithies from huddesfield though.
