When the fook are we finally going to see a Sunderland team with 2 decent fullbacks.
(Rose not included because he's not ours).
Gardners our best attacking central midfielder and he's currently our 1st choice right back. Colbacks played the majority of the season at left back aswell.

The team is an absolute shambles, I don't think we've had a decent left back on our books since Micky Gray. Martys had 3 transfer windows now, so they's no excuse!

IF we stay up, we need a complete new back 4. hopefully Rose will be the first one in, cause there's not one of our defenders I'd like to see in our starting 11 next season!

I can't fathom why both Rose and Bardsley weren't starters if they are fit mate.

Did MON see something in the team that drew with Fulham that I missed?
I like Gardner but he is no RB.
And Rose is head and shoulders a better player than Colback.

I actually hope he uses Bardsley and Rose next weekend, freeing up Gards to attack from midfield. He doesn't have a choice anymore, surely?

Colback needs a break from the first team, as does Larsson.

I can see that working, N'D doing the graft and Gardner actually picking a pass.
The problem is it looks like Larsson would have to give away loads of own goals before MON drops him.

Reckon he saved Rose and Bardo for next weeks game which, extra weeks recovery and playing at home. Thing is after today it'll be a home game where the away team is favourite not because they are Man U or Man City but, because we are playing ****e.

well, you would hope so pal. round pegs and all that.

It should favour us with Gardner having a big unit alongside him. He isn't exactly Mr creative but gets forward, has a bloody good shot on him, seems like he gives a **** & is streets ahead of Colback, Larsson & Vaughan for that position. Here's hoping...i know we're getting truly desperate!!

Bards has been fit for ages, and he's still not getting picked for some reason?

Could not agree more, Gardner in the first half was all over the place, I don't really blame him to much because he is just not a natural defender and is doing a job. We need 2 proper full backs in the summer, hopefully Rose + 1 other.
