Suddenly things seem to be looking up--with JT and Ashley Cole back--Robbie will have a full squad to choose from! I wonder if he'll be non contraversial and pick the "Seniors" or be bold and pick the side he really feels could do best! For sure he mustn't feel like "resting " players for the CL next week!

I fancy we'll see Cech;Ivanovich;Luiz;Terry; Cole;Ramires;Essien;Lampard;Sturridge;Drogba;Mata; If he goes with this I hope he sees fit to give Romeu and Cahill a run out as subs at some point.

Cole back somehow doesn't seem like a bonus anymore...

Why is Romeu out of the picture these days?

when ever i see stoke i think long throw !! is the dude who launches them still in their team? stoke are playing ok at the moment and i do not think it will be an easy game but really hope the team carry the momentum from the brummie game and get a good result. Wouldn't it be good to hammer them with torres getting a couple, would really get things buzzing !!

I think its a choice between Romeu and the Bison! Essiens never really looked the same since his return from injury, but its experience vs youthful talent at the moment--and while the stakes are high, experience gets the nod!

I think that's right, though not necessarily the best way forward.Personally I'd have Essien AND Cole as subs, and start with Romeu and Bertrand. Most on here know my opinion of Cole, the player and the person.

CP--Its a difficult shout for Robbie! I saw him in his pre-match press conference on CTV tonight and he wasn't giving anything away! I am excited about the contribution the likes of Romeu and Bertrand will make for us! I just happen to think that the experience of Essien/Cole is the vital ingredient that they can provide that Romeu/Bertrand cant in the battles ahead!

Just hope he sticks with Torres instead of diva Drogba. Absolutely no room for shyte like Malouda, Kalou & Bosingwa!
