We have to remeber that Short is a business man and if you are not performing in your specific area/field of work you will be sacked for poor performances. I would have like to seen their scouting plans and the scheduling for next season. Surly this must have had a major factor on the sacking. If people are not doing their jobs why should they be given a free ride... I'm loving this mans ruthlessness. We will see a director of football at this club very soon.
Why sack Bally? he's doing a great job, if we were failing then fair enough but we're not. I think he is a PDC blood and guts, all in type of bloke anyway so could imagine them getting along very well together.
PDC said he will be responsible for transfers and Ellis Short said Di Canio ASKED to be given the title of "Head Coach" so it'd surprise me as he left Swindon as ayers were sold without his say so and a director of football is simply the other side of that coin

Sign some Italians, Germans, portugese and Dutch. Get away from the ****ty English players we pay over the odds for, and get some pact, Foriegn players in who are hungry.
My biggest disappointment is the lack of talent being promoted from the Academy which has been established for 10 years or so. Only Henderson and Colback have become worthy EPL quality.
