What’s on yours then lads and lasses? No offence intended of course to you muesli munching, huel quaffing veggie type sorts but this has to be meat filled thread in homage to the good old full english. National substitutes will be gladly accepted for you Scottish folks with ya square sausage and tatty scones and elsewhere of course.

I’m not a fan of the egg, tomatoes or black pudding but mine will ideally consist of the following :-

    2-3 sausages
    2-3 slices of bacon
    Mushrooms
    Beans (preferably Branston)
2-3 Hash Browns (or potato rosti’s)
2 slices of hot buttered white toast (just slightly more than lightly toasted)

Prefer making them at home if I’m honest then I can be sure of getting the brands I really like, including the condiments, has to be Heinz for the red sauce and HP for the brown if needed. Always a bit of a mare and bum deal going out for one unless places are happy to swap the stuff I don’t like for extra stuff that I do and most places are a bit twatty about it which ****s me right off.

Any recommendations for good places to go in the Gateshead/North/South Tyneside area for a decent one? Don’t mind Spoons, you know what you’re getting but Ive tried a few other places locally like Aidan’s Kitchen in Sandyford, Butterfly Cabinet in Heaton which were reasonable enough….Aidens kitchen more so than the other and they do mahooosive pancake stacks for her indoors as well which she liked! Toby Carvery do a decent one and they have this well nice cheesy potato and onion kinda hash thing which is a bit of alright like I have to admit!

Quite partial to a full cooked for dinner of a weekday night now and then as well.

When I'm in Turkey or the MENA region I love Menamen :

For an English style, I love scrambled eggs, but I drop diced Chorizo in, with some double cream and chilli flakes. Alongside that on the plate will be a couple of poached eggs and 2-3 Geordie Bangers. Bacon wise I like oak smoked. I like black pudding but not arsed with beans. I like a couple of massive flat mushrooms too, dusted in chilli flakes.

Basically I guess I like eggs a lot.

I really want to like eggs as they are so versatile but every time i try them different ways I just can’t get away with them.

I have about 5 or 6 a day... Cheap and healthy. I stopped boiling them because shelling them pisses me off.

    Bacon
    Black pudding
    Sausage
    Tomatoes
    Toast
    Shrooms
    Brown sauce

Do also like Lorne sausage, tatty scones, white pudding, hash browns, irish soda bread, rarely have them though

I don't like eggs either and beans are just pointless

I hate it when you go in to a poncey place and they serve up a full English on a huge plate but then give you one sausage, one egg, one rather of bacon then fill the plate with beans and seeded ****ing toast

I don't eat breakfast or anything other than black coffee until 11 am.. I then eat again a 7 and that's it..

2 big meals a day low carb high fat and protein.

This way increase human growth hormone and become fat adapted meaning your body learns to use up your fat reserve for fuel and you end up lean with good muscle mass when combined with hiit during your fasting period.
