He's a strict disciplinarian. He's already warned the fans not to expect pretty football. I wonder how Fulham's players will react - they're not known for being ready to roll up their sleeves and work hard (maybe unfairly). There'll be no half-way house with this fella - they'll either win the 5/6 games they need to or be relegated by Easter. It will be interesting to watch. ps he reportedly picked Alan Curbishley's brains for info about this weekend's opponents West Brom and then duly sacked him. Nice !
Fair enough. They will implode like a star in the process of becoming a White Dwarf collapsing in on itself to form a high density mass.
the corollary worry being that they then become a supernova.. the brightest light in the universe.. and we don't want that surely?
Crazy decision to replace Meulensteen with this guy, Meulensteen in tune with modern methods and English football, this guy probably more in tune with tactics before the offside law was changed in the early 90's
I think he sounds like the sort of bloke Fulham need, and a proven-track record (never in English football, of course). Needs to get the ball rolling quick though, and I'm hoping his first introduction to English football is a nice, tame 0-0.
But then they're just rolling the dice and watching the clock. Will they blow themselves to smithereens, or turn into a neutron star and pull all the best players in the world to themselves?
Judging by what the man himself has said, I'd guess he'd be happier to see the ball flying, rather than rolling.
What this bell end needs to realise is the fact his side will be playing against teams( barring a couple)that are going for the title/top 4 or scrapping like frig for survival. No gimmes in this league Felix. Ya daft bastard.
