Second top scorers in the Championship just 2 goals less than top club Burnley but also conceded more goals than anyone except the bottom 2 clubs. How is this going to go? Will Slade set up for the win from the off or try to defend and pinch it at the end? One thing is certain - we need the win, just a point today is really no good to us.
Looks like a 5 man midfield with just Immers up top - maybe Lawrence playing just behind him. Glad Whitts is back - he could be the key to unlocking Fulham.
Fulham on top now - we need to win this not just draw. An hour gone - please do something positive Mr. Slade.
Oh well. I have stayed positive all season, but we would need to just about win every game from here on. Don't think that will happen.
City just don't get any luck. Why can't we ever get a last minute winner? How many have we conceded with virtually the last kick?
It was coming. Fulham had 2 or 3 balls right across our 6 yard box without getting a touch. Positive going 2 up top but we went route 1 and conceded midfield. Any news on why O'Keele on bench? Missed him today. Good curry at North Ealing to make up for the result.
Common misconception and factually impossible. Luck, good or bad plays a huge part in defining a game of football. What I do agree with is that along with eliminating stupid mistakes like falling asleep when starting the second half, turning good performances into tangible assets viz goals is the only way to avoid "luck" playing a significant role. The fact is that City have repeatedly shot themselves in the foot this season for not following those principles. In the end "luck" has entered the equation and we will continue to moan that it has kept us out of the top 6. In reality, we've dropped many of the points we have through our own lack of concentration and inability to kill games off.
