From JG's commentary it sounded like we were playing well first half. In the second Southampton upped their game and our guys ran out of energy, which isn't too surprising as many were youngsters and other haven't had much game time. Near the end of the game it sounded like we only had 4 on the pitch. Rodak kept the score to an acceptable level, he had a good game. With our ultimate goal of wanting promotion dropping out of the cup already is more of a benefit than a loss.
I must admit in the disappointment of last weekend I didn’t really have any interest in this game other than a few glances at the score line!
