The owners choice of pop idol statue at the Fulham FC football ground appears a little odd, would he have been better advised to have erected a statue of George Michael, after all he is reportedly well known as a Cottager? Any thoughts?
Possibly the most funniest thing I seen.... cos of how random it is! Never knew Jacko was a lover of Fulham! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
The only famous Fulham fans I know were Regan and Carter from The Sweeney. They at least knew a thing or two about 'grass'.
Wolfie Smith comes into that category, as fictional supporters. There are also real fans such as Hugh Grant and Max Clifford!
Famous Fulham fans ...and I use the term 'Famous' ...very lightly... George Lamb (TV presenter & Radio DJ) "Nasty" Nick Bateman (Big Brother) Tim Ewart (ITN Sports Editor) Nick Ross (Presenter, BBC Crimewatch) Keith Chegwin (Presenter, Chegger's Plays Pop) Janet Street Porter (Various) Musicians Michael Jackson (for one game at Home to Wigan in 1997) Lily Allen Sam Jeffers (Drummer with Fridge) Sade Dusty Springfield
Maybe QPR will celebrate their promotion by erecting a statue of Eddie Hitler from Bottom please log in to view this image
Begs the question, if Pompey wanted to compete with Fulham in the laughing stock dept, who would we build a statue of on Frogmore Road????
If Fulham get relegated ... maybe Jack should be replaced by this: please log in to view this image
Allegedly Kingsland. If he had merely sat in the stands in his Elvis Presley fancy dress outfit, he would probably not have been recognised.
It made Arab Business news http://www.arabianbusiness.com/pompey-fans-apologise-after-attack-on-al-fahim-391717.html
