Great result yesterday, but onto more important things. If we don't beat Fulham, that arsenal result will be pointless. A few tough fixtures midweek that we need to take advantage of! We need to actually push on and not play like we did against west brom.
nah. 3 points won v arsenal. arsenal fans going mental thinking those were their by right. We cannot assume those fulham game points are ours but must earn what we can and deserve. I'm going to watch fulham v utd and see whats what. west brom were awful but took 1 point against us and everton. for all we know fulham might fix all their defensive mistakes today and play awesome. As this is an away game for us meekness is a worry.
If united don't beat Fulham today at OT they really are on the slide. As for us, well this is the type of game we constantly let ourselves down . It's time we played with the same belief and passion and pace that we did yesterday. An early goal or two would put Fulham on the backfoot and we should go on from there to win. But it's down to us.
**** United, **** Arsenal and all the rest. It's not about them. Starting with Fulham we have to take to the pitch committed to taking all 3 points. We cannot influence what any other side does BUT we can ensure that we do what we do - score goals. And goals means points. As for the certainty regarding what the other top teams will achieve that becomes more and more uncertain as both City and Arsenal have just demonstrated (and Chelsea will prove before the end of the season).
I am concerned also. We need to have that same enthusiasm from the arsenal game and just put the game to bed early on.
Utd really should win this. the state of fulhams defence last week was laughable. I agree on next match we need to show the same effort and pressing and enthusiasm and get a couple of goals, kill them off then control it. playing lazily, meekly and negatively is not one now. 3 points are a must for us. that one is for later mind. everton spurs first.
