a little bit belated I know. The match was a very good match, first 5 mins rangers looked very bright and I had a bad feeling about this game, then ffc got in there stride and played some lovely passing football where we just kept the ball for long periods, then the first gift from rangers defence, it was a penalty trip on the lively deejagah, and as calm as you like berby passed the ball into the net, then what was samba thinking when he stumbled on the ball and deejagah passed to who else to make it 2-0, then ffc were in full stride passing the ball around which led to the 3rd goal, shame on clint hill he was unlucky, to me when deejagah got injured we lost our balance and lost our attacking threat down the right hand side, rangers had a couple of half chances that flew over, at that time I thought this could be another 6-0, then our greek midfielder lost the ball and good goal from adel game on?. rangers were fantastic second half then the pen, it looked dubious but schwarzer has saved 3 out of the last 4 so quietly confident, and it was a poor pen, then good goal from remy, ****ting myself now, half an hour to go, harry brings off adel, perfectly timed cos he has now missed the last bus home, then the onslaught it only a matter of time when rangers would scored again, sidwell gets a red looked harsh but reckless, now I am thinking rangers would rip us apart by passing around us, strangely they choose to lump it, apart form great shot and save from M.S, the only real chance towards the end, we managed to hold on, on the way home I was pleased we won, but felt a bit like we did not deserve to win it, special word for Zamora after we kicked the ball out after a rangers player got hurt, rangers then kicked it out of touch down our end(not in the spirit of the game) then Zamora said to the ffc player pass to me and I will pass it back, a nice tough I thought, can rangers stay up yes they can if they play well for 90 mins, but I would not bet on it, I have lost enough on rangers this season
Hi FT, thanks for that. We were down and out at 3 nil and then had you on the ropes for some periods in the second half. If we were only 2/3 of the way through the season, I would take encouragement from the second half and suggest we might make it. As it stands, that seems very unlikely.
