    I have expressed the opinion that FSG will have an almost zero net spend this summer and several posters have scoffed at me so let's have everyone's figures in one place so come Sept 1st we can see who was correct.

    Just put down your guess and let's see. Obviously some fees are never released so in those circumstances I will use the figures from the Daily Telegraph as they are not prone to wild speculation and as long as we use one source for all figures it should even out.

    Remember,net spend only.
    As a small incentive I will donate £100 to the charity of choice of the closest guess without going over. (You'll just have to trust me on that)

    So I will start by saying their net spend will be 4m.

    Edit: Running total = minus1m

    Out Kuyt 1m

    £20m.

    BUT, with a big reduction on the wage budget. The likes of Kuyt, Maxi, Cole, B.Jones and Aquilani being moved on while we bring in younger players to replace them who will be on much less wages <ok>

    39million (just because luv already stole my guess of 40mill) but I would expect a much younger squad and on much lower wages (Cole, Aqua, Maxi all to leave).

    If they spend the money you say Redux.They/FSG will come under HUGE pressure from the fans ( and rightly so ), thats why I feel they will spend more,also our operating profit good sponsorship deals will allow us to spend more.If they intend to keep the club LONG TERM spending the amount you mention doesnt make sense, if they spend the amount YOU mention I think they must be trying to sell us behind the scenes

    I will be honest I will be disappointed if they spend less than the amount I have quoted

    If they wanna win ( JW Henrys word when taking over ) we will see minimum £50m net spend,lets see u do it FSG

    Gonna say around 35 Million.Spent on 2-3 players with a number of others going the opposite way(reduction in wages). Would like to think young players will play a pivotal role in Rodgers first season as squad players to start.

    Going with 27 million dead on. 32 paid out on 3 players 5 back for selling on.

    At least your being philanthropic with your grumpiness today Redux!

    I know your cynical, I know your suspicious of the yanks 2.0 but maybe, just maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

    In fact I think you secretly go to bed at night & chant;

    "Please Mr Henry be a good'un"
