I agree that the ''this is just the beginning'' comment is heartwarming.

 

Radio 5 live are doing a piece on The New Liverpool tonight at 2130 which contains a full interview with Tom Werner

 

well theres still 2 weeks of transfer window to go and after that we can assess the squad and where we are at.

not sure there's anything new in this stuff and i wonder sometimes (not specifically here about this thread) if one performance that was v gomel can just have such an effect to make everyone think the same things from a week before are suddenly alright.. cos what happens if we lose, are the the worst again?

have to agree there was a huge dif between the first game and second v Gomel.

that's not what has got me optimistic though, its the attitude of the players and we are playing nice football and trying to get the ball back as quick as poss, add to that some potential exciting players joining(Sahin,Tello etc), where as before it has felt like we sulked and played for a draw and didn't have the players to control games.

this time if we get beat, with a bit of luck(which we seriously lacked last season) it will because the better team won.

been impressed with how we have played pre season, but there is a huge dif between pre season and the League, just hope we carry the form into Saturdays game and we should be ok.

 

We could win the league title, FA and League Cups and the Champions League all in one season without losing a game or conceding a goal, we'd still be **** if we lost the Charity shield match!
