We know he's skilful, he's definitely not back right after the injury. The most frustrating thing is Sone's inability to release the ball when he needs to. In the last 2 home games when he came on he has lost possession far too cheaply by hanging on to the ball trying to out skill the opposition. Greedy play and unnecessary. He needs to be told to start to play the team game and not try and prove he is back and better than everyone else. I want Sone back but at the minute he is a liability, nearly as much as Figueroa who totally lost the plot yesterday - jumping at shadows, getting the wrong side of his man and giving the ball away cheaply - thank god Bruce took him off when he did.
Agree on both counts, I can't understand how some people have Figueroa in their top three on the MOTM thread, he put the one good cross in for Long early on but is a liability. Aluko just seems completely bereft of any form and continually makes the wrong decisions. Let's hope he gets his form bac over the summer because I can't see it happening before!
