Fruit flies

Anyone else plagued by them or is it a Cambridgeshire thing?
Every time I put down my glass of cheap wine another ****er lands in it.

But seriously, you're too young but I remember, just, I was only 4 going on 5, the greenfly plague of 1976 followed about a week later by a ladybird plague. This unusually warm and dry weather seems to be playing havoc with mother nature.

Put a bit of vinegar in a shallow bowl, clingfilm it, jab the clingfilm a few times with a fork to make some holes and leave it on the windowsill. You'll have dozens of the little buggers drowning in it within a few minutes.
