    Altidore Fletch

I'm intrigued to see if they would work together, in my mind it seems like it would be a very good partnership.

Could always partner Sess with either one if it doesn't work

How about a front 6 of

    Johnson Cabral Giaccherini Sessegnon

    Fletcher Altidore

Giaccherini looked more comfortable coming in off the flank so could work as our playmaker in the middle and i think sess is a quality wide left player.

Altidore and Fletcher and convert Sess into that midfield playmaker we've been crying out for.
    AJ .. Cabral... Sess... Giach
    Altidore.... fletch

That would do the business that would.

Sadly no chance. Di Canio is desperate to get a cm to pair Cabral

Fletch and Altidore seem like a match made in heaven, unfortunately at the expense of Sess, I can't see a place in our starting line up for him and I am a big Sess fan.

cabral wont play an advanced role he'll be our sitting/box-to-box cm surely.
i dont know who he'll drop, probably larsson first but who takes his place? sess?

i quite like the look of that actually but sess will have to up his defensive efforts. cant carry 3 all out attackers.

OT: no official word on websites today but talk****e said this morning we were in for mavrias again expecting to do deal by weekend. he's only 19 and unlikely to be first xi but why bother if paolo wants a cm as priority? we already have moberg-karlsson and ba as young wingers unless he intends to shift giaccherini infield.

We can only play 11 men, we would get battered with that front three.

Don't know why tons of people suggest playing Sess, Fletch AND Altidore

Di Canio has openly expressed on countless occasions he wants a cm playmaker to partner Cabral.

It will be two from Fletcher, Altidore, Sess, Ji & Wickham who starts

Sess not a forward but can cause havoc as a free midfielder. Cabral can do the nasty bits Sess can cause the damage for the front 2

Not a chance, Cabral needs support in the middle.

Any team that wins the middle of the park stands a chance of winning the game. We would be overrun with Sess in there.

Whoever plays alongside Cabral needs discipline as a cm, they can't drift around otherwise we may as well be playing 1 cm

Also Sess cannot pick a pass in the same manner Huddlestone, who was a prime candidate for our cm playmaker, can.

Sorry mate, Sess is not a midfield player and never will be, we don't win enough second balls now, we wouldn't win any with him in there. I'm a big fan of him and pray that he stays , but his position is in the hole and he will be the one to miss out if we go two up top.

Monty I think Vaughan agrees with you! Sess' cannot play midfield and pick a pass, he is there to beat a man and open up the play.

This man with the keys is vital!
