He's played quite a lot of football already after being billed as injury prone. Should Rosicky be picked ahead of Ramsey at this time? How does Chesney keep pulling off these amazing saves? Should Santos be given the nod ahead of Gibbs? Who are the team missing most? Diaby & Vermaelen should be back soon. Can't wait for Wilshere to come back!!
Stoke strikers must be rubbing their hands in anticipation.... he was ok going forward.... defensively looked very shaky! Arteta was ok, wonder if we would see him dominate as he did at Everton, I think he is under undue pressure, as he is expected to fill in seamlessly into Fabs role.....and dictate the game for us. Maybe we would see the best of him when the team's confidence returns, we all know what he can do! It is a difficult one, with Santos and Gibbs, I think Gibbs has regressed due to his injuries, but Santos is a bit untested at this level.... Gibbs is injured now, so we no option but to go for Santos now. I think we are missing TV the most, but are missing Diaby as well, as on his day he change a game, just not consistent enough due to his injury record!
I'm not sure anyone could say we are missing Diaby, its not like he was consistently in the team before.
Thanks Omo I personally can't wait to see Vermaelen back. Though I did see Merts barking orders around a bit yesterday. For all the fear of Jenkinson having to play, he didn't do too badly. I'd also play Rosicky over Ramsey at this stage, but it worries me a little that Arteta & Rosicky are both injury prone, as is RvP, so playing them Sunday, Wednesday, Sunday could cause problems! However, after that it's the CC so they'll get a much-needed week off. I'd like a bit more variation in the team, and for that reason I can't wait for Diaby & Wilshere to be back. Providing good options in midfield would make a big difference to the mentality of the opposition. I long to be in a position where I can't predict the exact starting 11!!
