How have we become worse? Against Tottenham we looked great, closed the ball down, pressed the right areas, passed well, defended well. Even against Man City that opening half hour we were all over them and they scored against the run of play. Cabral looked class, Ba looked good and now neither of them can get near the first team. I cannot fathom why we have reverted to playing Larrson and Vaughan in the middle who lack pace power and aggression. We have let that go in the form of N'Daiye which also makes little sense. If we cannot get a decent CM in N'Diaye should be recalled immediately though I doubt we can do that.........the gentle openers are over now we play the big boys!
The pitch was a good leveller Tony, but we don't look like the same team as we did in that tournament.
Cabral seems a better player than Larrson & Vaughan all round! Why isnt he playing! Is there something us supporters are not being told?
Good post, for me pre season is just pre season it counts for nothing at the end of the PL season.. Cabral is a mystery to me mate, Larrson and Vaughan makes me wanna eat concrete it's pointless.. Will will get a decent CM I have faith in the club and what were trying to achieve!
