    LEEDS UTD V Millwall
    Morning everyone,

Is this the one that we have all been waiting for?

Surely its 3 points in the bag for the mighty Whites?

United will be looking to build on the back of two successive rare clean sheets and indeed the disappointment at only registering a single point last time out at Ewood Park suggests how dominant the Whites were and how wasteful their finishing was.

Kenny Jacket’s Lions arrive at Elland Road having finally ended a five-game successive losing streak last Sunday when beating Middlesbrough on their own patch and as ever with the visit of the men from the Den you can be guaranteed 100 per cent commitment and a feisty atmosphere both off and on the pitch.

Like United, Millwall have saved some of their best form for the cup this season, indeed the visitors have progressed to the quarter-final stage of this season’s FA Cup where only a home tie against Blackburn Rovers stands in the way of an appearance at Wembley Stadium.

The last home fixture for United against Blackpool was one of their most assured and dominant displays of the season to date.
More of the same will be expected from the loyal hordes who very much regard this game as a “must win” every season, however, far too often it has been the men from South-East London who have held sway over the Whites.

Former Lion Steve Morison will be desperate to play against his old club and will be assured of a “warm” reception, however last time out he looked well off the pace and indeed far from 100 per cent match fit so he may well have to do with a place on the bench this time out with El-Hadji Diouf recalled to the starting line up.

I would fully expect Michael Tonge, who was excellent at Ewood Park to retain his place, however he may be joined by Michael Brown to add extra steel to the midfield which is always keenly contested and a crucial battleground in this fixture.

United are now some six points adrift of the play-off places with a significantly inferior goal difference, so it’s now high time for the Whites to start a consistent run of victories if they are to maintain any realistic ambitions of promotion this season.

With away games at Leicester, Crystal Palace and Watford yet to be negotiated, home wins are a necessity as is a vastly improved away record.

Morning Elland. Shouldbe a win & 3pts tomorrow. But unlikely to be more than about 20k to watch it due to plod cr$ap & the 'Wall only bringing a small car load.

Almost feel sorry for them. Perhaps the Pussycat Dolls should stick to singing, rather than winding up WYP finest.

Morning all. Desperately need a win tomorrow against the minnows of the Championship. Realistically little chance of playoffs, but still a slim chance if we can put a run of wins together. With two difficult games next, this is an ideal warm up against what is effectively an old Division 1 team. Large win expected, maybe by three or four

I see Leicester City's owners have just bought their ground for £17M - I wonder if GFH can sell enough camels to buy Elland Road? 6 should be enough <cheers>

I didn't realise Camels were so expensive these days! <laugh>

    Morning all,

Even though I abandoned all hope of the playoffs a few games ago, Millwall is always a must win game so 3 points from this one. While it's technically possible to go on a good run of results and make the playoffs, and that'd have to start now, I can't see it happening. I'll leave this one open for the good folks at Leeds Utd to pleasantly surprise me, it'd be a nice change!

    Morning all <ok>

We dont win away from home so we wont ever make the play offs!

Anyone remember that season under wilko when we went the whole season without winning away from Elland road? We got that monkey off our back about 5 games into the next season when we battered Saints 3-1 at the dell. Speedo got two if i remember rightly.

    http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....uraging-fans-to-boycott-elland-road-1-5459682

Both clubs tried to lift the stupid voucher scheme but the WYP have still enforced it <yikes> absolute madness, But at least Millwall are taking advantage of the situation and asking fans to BOYCOTT the game and save their dosh and buy a cup ticket next week <ok>
Makes sence to me.. Leeds Utd to pay heavy Policing costs to shepherd next to no fans and we sell more tickets for our cup game <ok>

Only one loser in all this,, very sad really!!

1500 x £36 lost but seems like the WYP couldnt give a toss about that <doh>

2 rules i have regarding the Saturday accumulator:

    1) Never back Leeds to win
    2) Avoid the early kickoffs

    I've put Leeds in at 21/20 <sorry>
