Morning all. Definitely a frisky Friday. On AOB, I'd love to know what an £xk a week professional footballer has to be depressed about.... unless his wife had just walked out on him or something similar. C'an't help feeling the club might have noticed if that had happened. Wouoldn't say an awful lot for the club's man management skills if they hadn't. Anyway moving on, unless Diouff's wage demands were such that he would unbalance the club's wage structure, I'd be tempted to give him whatever he wants. I know what we all thought of him before he started playing for us. But he's been a revalation both on & off the pitch. No hassles, no spitting, & a class above anything else we've got, with the possible exception of Austin. Big game tonight. A chance to build on the performance on Tuesday & produce a boring ground out 1-0... or turn on the style & hammer 'em. Either way, should be a good game.
