Morning Everyone Yesterday, LUST gave us some hope by announcing that the takeover has once again moved close to completion. If it falls through again, that HAS to be the final straw. Until the takeover does happen, fans are planning to show clearly the dissatisfaction with the way the club has been run over the past 7 years. Hull’s visit to Elland Road on Tuesday has been earmarked for an anti-Bates protest taking place in the South Stand. Supporters discontented with Ken Bates and the management of the takeover are purchasing tickets in block SS1. Who's make the trip down to Wales tomorrow, I for one am really looking forward to it. This is exactly the tpe of team that we would have to beat, if we were to stand a chance of promotion, thoughts? Have your expectations changed since our first game of the season v Wolves? Now, its time to get frisky, who's gonna give us a song of the day?
Morning all EDIT Freaky I hit reply and you must have posted this seconds earlier, mystic meg stuff or what
Morning gang. Interesting the Jacobs chap said the buyers wanted the takeover to be finished one way or the other before the Hull game. Possibility of two very differing atmospheres so depending on which way it goes. With the indemnity issue apparently sorted, it would appear, if Bates finds another excuse to delay, he's messing everyone around. The thing is, he's not stupid. He refused to budge on the indemnity and it's the buyers that had to back down with some of the consortium indemnify other members in the event of a skeleton appearing from the closet later on. On the footballing side, four points from next two games would be marvellous. God bless NW in all this fiasco
Morning. I think Cardiff are a team we have to beat convincingly to put to bed the ghost of the 2002 game. I can not see us ever getting promoted until we destroy them in Cardiff. For me when Cardiff knocked us out of the FA cup it was the start of our decline and needs to be repaid...
Poor Harte was never blessed with pace, but could provide a wicked cross / free kick. We should have used him as a centre back, which is where he was moved to, when he left us
Isnt it strange that his career has lasted longer than most of our team of that era. A lot of them were supposed to be faster and more technically gifted. Im thinking Woodgate, Bowyer, Smith, Kewell. They're long finished and Hartey is still around. Good luck to the lad, a set piece genius even if he was slow
Only at Carlisle though. He still plays full back for Reading, but has serious competition there with Nicky Shorey
home from home fella. Not that I'm suggesting any connection between you and friskiness you understand <phhewww>
Morning all I'll take 6 points from the next 2 games, the completion of the takeover and Papa Smurf to have a massive coronary. Surely not too much to ask?
