Hmm seems a weird one to me, What cover do Arsenal have a DM now that he is gone. Gnabry and Coquelin? Or are there players that i'm forgetting?

Just coqluelin actually. Gnabry is a winger/attacking midfielder like oxo. Frimpong isn't ready yet for prem. bit of a gamble but that's how wenger is.

We are light at DM, but Frimpong needs regular games, not just one off league cup games here and there. Good move for Frimpong at a really good club. His loan to Wolves was going really well before he got injured, so let's hope this one turns out to be the springboard that Frimpong needs to get into the first team.

Ah right, don't know why I thought he was a DM then. I've only seen him play once. A definite risk then, so do Arsenal fans rate Coquelin higher than Frimpong?

I personallly rate both coqluelin and yennaris higher than frimpong on a technical level. However yennaris has a long way to go in terms of physical development.

    He needs game time.

I do rate him far higher than Coquelin though and he's an Arsenal fan through and through.

Hopefully it works out, Chris Powell is a good young manager and let's hope he gives Frimpong the game time he badly needs.

I agree with this loan move. The man desperately needs game time and the more game time he gets, the better idea we'll have if he'll make it with us.

I really want him to make it for us as we need players of his mentality. Whether or not his ability matches our level, time will tell.

He is just what we need in the middle of our MF, but he still has to earn his place there <ok>

I really hope he does. Not just because he is exactly the type of player we need, and not just because we don't have another one like him - but he is Arsenal to the core and along with Szczesy, Wilshere, we need a core of players at this club who will die for the cause <ok>

And Jenkinson. That boy is Arsenal through and through. <ok>

Yeah with Wilshere, Theo, The Ox, Gibbs and Frimpong there's a good British core there that would be great to keep together and develop further.

Yep, also agree. Wenger did say that he will slowly bring back a core of British players to the team and that is starting to take shape.

Ten years ago he said it would take ten years for the next crop of top English players to emerge <ok>

We could field a team now with 6 English players: Gibbs, Jenkinson, Wilshere, Frimpong, Walcott, and OXO. Few seasons back that didn't exist for us, so we have built a strong core of English players.
